Election day is coming up soon, and as citizens, we must look forward to it every 4 years. Who gets elected can impact our economy, transportation system, healthcare, education, and other investments. It is a time that allows us to potentially change our future for the better.
Stand Up For Yourself and Other Muslims
As Muslims, it is inevitable that our voices are silenced everywhere. But it is our duty as privileged Canadian Muslims to go out of our way to learn about the struggles our community faces and ways we can help. Let us pick the candidate who can speak on our behalf because, in order for someone else to stand up for you, you must stand up for yourself first.
Start the Change from Within
As elections are coming up very soon, let us keep in mind the challenges that face the Muslim Community in Canada. Such as Sex education in public schools that is against our beliefs, Our London Family Justice, Anti Islamophobia resources needed to create the awareness needed in Local Canadian communities. etc.
We have the ability to vote, and it is our duty to make sure our voices are heard. As the Quranic verse suggests: “Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. [Ar Ra’d:11]”. Do the work you need to do and InshAllah, Allah will help us with our journey against Islamophobia.
Make sure to vote for the right candidate who can amplify our voices all the while understanding our community, fighting Islamophobia, and supporting Muslim organizations like the NCCM in their work!
Is good for all Muslims to vote because is part of your right as Muslim and also a citizen must vote because u need to vote one who will give you right to worship as Muslim and Islam will go free without any problem
