Oct 10th: panel discussion on the importance of Islamic heritage month and it's place in Canadian history.

 

Oct 17th: geometric Islamic art workshop. Artist and expert in Islamic art Sumayya Petrus will teach participants how to draw authentic biomorphic art pieces, using everyday art supplies.

 

Oct 24th: we are inviting local artists to teach participants tips on writing pieces of poetry. Participants will then submit their work to be judged and the top 3 winners will be announced on the 31st.

Oct 25th: Drive-In MuslimFest at Islamic Centre of Southwest Ontario

 

Oct 31st: in our final session we will be announcing the winners for our competitions (poetry and short video).
